Geneseo Fire Department launches EMS eSchedule.

Geneseo, New York
In 1832, the Village of Geneseo incorported. One of the reasons for incorporation was to establish fire protection for its citizens. Since 1834 continuous fire protection has been provided, and beginning in 1940, ambulance service. Today the fire department provides fire and ambulance protection to the Village, and to the Town of Geneseo under contract. Ambulance protection is also provided to a portion of the Town of Groveland.

Geneseo Fire Department (GDF) installed eSchedule for its ambulance crews after evaluating other online scheduling products. They found eSchedule to be more flexible and responsive to their scheduling needs. GFD is a 100% volunteer organization which staffs a primary rig 24x7. A backup ambulance is staffed on weekends and as needed by available volunteers. They also provide standby services for the Town and Village of Geneseo (including State University of New York at Geneseo).

EMS eSchedule provides Internet based human resource software for Emergency Response Agencies (Ambulance, Advanced Life Support, Fire, helicopter transport, etc.). eSchedule functionality includes scheduling, time and attendance, shift availability, training tracking, certification tracking, and much more. eSchedule can accommodate a variety of organizations including volunteer, mixed staff (volunteer and career) as well as municipal and commercial organizations.
