SUNY Cobleskill Medical Response launches EMS eSchedule.
Cobleskill, New York
SUNY Cobleskill Medical Response Team (SMRT) began as the Student Health Squad in
January 1987. Today, the SMRT is progressing forward. Its members are minimally
certified in First Aid & CPR/AED. They are working toward becoming a certified
BLS transport organization with a fully equipped ambulance and station house.
Coverage has been expanded to include weeknights, weekends, and special events
with crews of three or more. SMRT also provides special programs for the students
including certification and training.
SMRT continuously is recruiting new members. They strive to make it easy for people to volunteer. EMS eSchedule allows their members to check the schedule and sign up right from their dorm room. Since they also staff special events at the college, they needed a flexible scheduling application that would allow members to see what events were coming up and which ones still needed crews. SMRT has been working with EMS eSchedule since January 2007.
EMS eSchedule provides Internet based human resource software for Emergency Response Agencies (Ambulance, Advanced Life Support, Fire, helicopter transport, etc.). eSchedule functionality includes scheduling, time and attendance, shift availability, training tracking, certification tracking, and much more. eSchedule can accommodate a variety of organizations including volunteer, mixed staff (volunteer and career) as well as municipal and commercial organizations.
